The Pembina Valley Hawks suffered their first regulation loss of the playoffs on Thursday night in Ste. Anne.

Raygan Kirk made 29 saves including 14 in the third period as the Eastman Selects defeated the defending Manitoba Female AAA Midget Hockey League champions 2-0

The best-of-five final is tied at one.

The last time the Hawks were shutout was back on January 7th when they lost 2-0 to the Winnipeg Avros.

Chelsea Dinnin and Kylie Lesuk did the goal scoring for the Selects who bounced back from a 3-1 loss in the series opener on Tuesday.

Dinnin beat Pembina Valley goaltender Halle Oswald 63 seconds into the third period and Lesuk added a shorthanded goal with 6:14 remaining in regulation.

Eastman outshot the Hawks 33-29.

Game three goes Saturday (7 p.m.) in Morden.
