A second Morden Mohawks dynasty has been added to the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame.

The 1993-2000 Mohawks teams were inducted into the Hall during the 22nd Induction Dinner held earlier this month at the Access Event Centre in Morden which is the home to the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame's Museum.

"They were pretty good," said manager Joe Wiwchar. "We beat Kalieda and we beat Clearwater. There were some good teams we had to beat for sure."

The Mohawks won eight straight Border League titles between 1993 to 2000.

Morden ran the table in 1994.

The Mohawks won 24 straight regular season and playoff games on their way to capturing the Border League championship.

The 1987-92 Morden Mohawks teams were inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.

The Carman Goldeyes, who won the Manitoba Junior Baseball League and provincial championships from 1971-74 were also inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Jason Mateychuk, who was the player-coach for the Franklin Border Kings who won four consecutive Border Baseball League titles from 2006-2009, was also enshrined into the Hall.
