Jesse Mutcheson hit a walk-off single to center to bring the Border West Baseball League championship back to Morden after a one year hiatus. The Mohawks took game four 8-7 in the bottom of the 8th over last year's champion Pilot Mound Pilots.

The Mohawks scored one in the first, three in the second, another single in the third, and one in the fifth before Chris Moffatt hit a solo home run to tie the game up in the bottom of the seventh.

While, the Pilots tallied one in the top of two, a pair in the fourth, and five in the sixth.

Tyson McConnell started for the visiting Pilots and tossed seven innings of seven run ball, struck out 7 and walked a pair. Anthony Friesen pitched a third of an inning and took the loss, giving up one run on two hits.

Meanwhile, Tanner Bergman got the start on the hill for the Mohawks and scattered 15 hits over 5 2/3 innings, gave up 7 runs and struck out one , before Pearce McDonald finished the sixth and seventh. McDonald gave up a hit, walked a pair, and struck out one. Mutcheson finished the top half of the 8th and got the win for himself with his walk off hit.

This is the fourth time in five years Morden have hoisted the W.G. (Gerry) Coulthard Trophy.
