Hayley Bergman and Kris Winkler of Miller Collegiate in Altona will represent Zone 4 at the Provincial High School Curling championships next month in Dauphin.
Bergman along with third Olivia Bruneau, second Payton Bergman and lead Anastasia Ginters went undefeated this past weekend in winning the zone championship banner at the Morris Curling Club.
The Bergman foursome beat Avery Peckover of Carman 12-2 in the "A" final and Lani Ens of Garden Valley 7-4 in the "B" final.
It's the second year in a row Bergman, Bruneau, Bergman and Ginters won the zone banner.
They are also the reigning provincial high school champions.
Winkler, with third Shawn Penner, second Desmond Froese and lead Lucas Kauppila defeated Rhilynd Peters of Morden 6-3 in the "A-B" final.
Winkler fell 6-4 to Peters in the "A" side final and then beat Reece Hamm of Garden Valley 6-4 in the "B" final.
The Provincial High School Curling Championships will be held February 23rd, 24th & 25th at the Dauphin Curling Club.
