With technology ever evolving in the modern day world, the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (CFDC) is continuing to evolve alongside it.

Developed by Bit Space Development Ltd. and voiced by Tyler Hildebrand of Golden West Broadcasting, the museum released the CFCD Audio Tour.

"What we've been able to create is this fantastic, simple to use, fantastic quality audio app, at 22 stations throughout the museum," shared CFDC Executive Director Peter Cantelon.

Available in app stores, the app uses mobile devices to interact with the exhibits throughout the museum.

Cantelon explains the app is a way to integrate technology into the museum, as well as enhance the experience for guests.

"What they're getting is an enhanced piece of information about that particular space, additional information that’s not on the panel."

This will aid in guests in learning more about the exhibits throughout the museum, increasing time spent learning without having people read paragraphs of information.

This is the second app in the museum's foray into creating an interactive and technological experience, with Cantelon saying there’s something cool about holding a museum in your hand.

22 stations are placed at exhibits throughout the museum, devices can scan these to gain additional information on that exhibit
