No one was seriously injured after a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Winkler.

According to the Winkler Police Service, a southbound SUV travelling on Norquay Drive failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a westbound SUV on Roblin Boulevard.

The driver of the southbound SUV then lost control and travelled across a fuel cardlock facility, finally coming to a stop, but only after causing substantial damage to the rear wall of a business that faces 1st Street.

Paramedics assessed the occupants of each vehicle but only minor injuries were reported.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was issued a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign.
