Emergency crews were called to a serious motor vehicle collision on the westbound lane of Highway 3, near Morden. The two vehicle accident happened around 10:30 this morning.
A witness at the scene said it appeared a vehicle slowed to turn into Boston Pizza when it was rear-ended by the vehicle behind it at full speed. The force of the collision sent the first vehicle into the ditch.
STARS Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the collision. A spokesperson with STARS said they transported a 17-year-old male to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He is in stable condition.
