Municipalities in the region are sharing in over $20 million dollars through the New Building Canada Plan's Small Communities Fund which supports priority public infrastructure projects in communities with fewer than 100,000 residents.According to a release, the Government of Canada and the Government of Manitoba are each contributing over $10 million, representing two-thirds of the estimated $34.6 million in eligible project costs.

Rural Municipality of Pembina - $1.3 million for La Riviere Municipal Lagoon Upgrade

Rural Municipality of Morris - $802,082 for the Rosenort Industrial Park Road Extension

Rural Municipality of Louise - $800,000 for the Sheffield Bridge Tri-Municipal Project

Rural Municipality of Emerson-Franklin - $666,666 for Truck Route Renewal for RTAC Loading

Rural Municipality of Stanley - $599,400 for the Corridor North Sewer Project

Rural Municipality of Stuartburn - $229,166 for the Vita Lagoon Upgrade

Town of Altona - $100,000 for the Altona/Rhineland Landfill Expansion
