Investigators are examining the rubble of a building that was destroyed by fire Sunday night trying to determine a cause.

Oscar's Bar was reduced to ashes after flames ripped through the century old building. The building had celebrated its 100th year in August.

"Now it's just another empty lot in town which is sad to see," Letellier Fire Chief Jean Chartier. "It's a sad day."

He says the fire was fully involved by the time they were able to set up.

The blaze threatened to damage the Letellier Fire Department's brand new fire hall located right next door.

However, fire fighters from six different communities managed to keep the flames in check.

The new fire hall sits adjacent to the destroyed building
