Twenty-eight diverse individuals will walk across the stage today to receive their high school diplomas after completing the necessary credits at the Morden Adult Education Centre.

"We have a lot of people who come from different backgrounds, different home life, and even different places that come here to get their grade twelve," said class valedictorian Nedy Guenther.

Guenther stated it's great to look back on all the hard work, sacrifices, and dedication the graduating class has done to get to this point in their lives.

"It was crazy to start, but here we are at the end of the year. It's incredibly rewarding to know that me and my classmates are going to be graduating," said Guenther.

Some of these students have families and significant others and other jobs keeping them busy outside of school. Guenther noted a good routine was really helpful for her.

She stated a lot of the students have future plans to continue their education while some were just happy to get their grade twelve.
