Gaslight Harley-Davidson and the Southern Manitoba H.O.G. Chapter celebrated 40 years in Morden, last Sunday.

The event included a customer appreciation barbecue and live music.

Rudy Ens owner of Gaslight thanked their customers for helping them reach this milestone.
 
"We totally recognize that without their loyal patronage, this would of never been possible, and that's why it's very important that we want to recognize our customers on a day like today," he says.

Along with the barbecue, Gaslight hosted the Chapter's poker derby. Jake Hiebert, Director of The Southern Manitoba H.O.G. Chapter, thanks both Rudy and his wife Betty for sponsoring the Chapter, and wishes them the best, saying he remembers the when the opened up Gaslight back in 1977.

Hiebert also discussed the fifth annual Toy run, which raises funds and toys for the Winnipeg Children's Hospital, noting more than 120,000 children receive care every year.

"Those children come from all over Manitoba, they come from every corner." he says. "I think every person in this Province can talk about children's hospital being a relation to them in some sort. whether it's their niece, baby, daughter."

Ens and his wife Betty say they are excited to see what the future holds, and to be a part of the Toy run with the Chapter.
