'Celebrate The Seasons' was the theme behind the Morden Figure Skating annual carnival Sunday.

"This is our year end carnival where all the CanSkate kids, all of our competitive and senior skaters put on a nice show for the community. They show what we've learned throughout the year and everyone has a lot of fun."

The evening had summer, fall, winter, and spring themes, which included, Graduation, Canada Day, Pontoon, Back-to-School, Halloween, Snow Day, Christmas, NHL Skills, Sunshine, lollipops and Rainbows, and Baseball groups amongst a number of solo performances.

"The kids were having a lot of fun and everybody put in a lot of hard work," said Roberts.

Roberts noted a lot of the skaters partook in a number of events throughout the afternoon's festivities.

Admission to the event was by donation with the money gathered going to Kid Sport in the south region. Around $800 was raised for the organization.

"It's a great cause and helps some of the skaters that can't afford the costs of it. So, it's a great group for us to give back to," concluded Roberts.
