The City of Morden is wanting to hear from its residents. City officials are wanting its residents to complete the 2017 Citizen Satisfaction Survey.

"We want to basically know what the people of Morden think about what's being provided to them. Whether that's recreation facilities, recreation programs, City services or council itself," explained Marketing & Communications Coordinator Thomas Guenther. "We're measuring and wanting to find out what the level of satisfaction is, what they think and what their opinions are."

Guenther noted this is an annual survey and will not only help the city improve its services within the city, but can also help give direction to which projects the City should or should not take on.

"I believe last year we were talking about the City Square and that didn't take off. People weren't a big fan or it was to close to call, so we just called it off," said Guenther. "Not only do we want to know how well we are doing in certain areas and how satisfied in certain areas, but want to know which projects have the support of the people of the City residents."

You can find the survey on the City of Morden's website and or printed versions are available at the Civic Centre, Access Event Centre, and BDO building on 7th street in Morden.

According to Guenther last year the survey had roughly 830 people fill it out and they're looking to surpass that number this year.

The survey is live and ready to be completed and has a deadline of September 18th.
