Residents of Suntree Bay Willow Bay are still without power but are expected to be back shortly.
Manitoba Hydro crews have restored power to approximately 1,300 people without power in the Winkler area Thursday afternoon.
MB Hydro's Scott Powell notes the outage occurred after a local contractor came into contact with an underground distribution feeder.
Staff are working to isolate the damage and reenergize the remaining lines. Residents of Suntree Bay Willow Bay are still without power but are expected to be back shortly.
