As drought-like conditions continue this spring, another municipality in southern Manitoba has issued a burn ban.
Council for the R.M. of Dufferin initiated the ban at its regular meeting Tuesday evening, prohibiting all open-air burning until further notice.
The ban includes any fires contained within fire pits and burning barrels.
Since the beginning of May, the Carman-Dufferin Fire Department has responded to five grass fires in the area.
