Strong thunderstorms rolled through the Pembina Valley early Friday morning bringing heavy rain and high winds.

Nearly 7,000 customers remain without power throughout the region this morning. Reports continue to come in of knocked down power lines and trees. There is no word yet on how long Manitoba Hydro expects the outages to last.

Rosenort – 4 inches

Morris, Manitou – 1.3 inches

Clearwater – 1.2 inches

Carman – 1.1 inches

Two miles south of Morden - 8/10ths

Altona - 4/10ths to 7/10ths depending on location in town

Gnadenthal – 3/4 quarters of an inch

Winkler – 6/10ths

North of Horndean – 1/2 an inch

Elm Creek - 4/10ths
