The caller also stated there was another female in a vehicle outside the restaurant who appeared to be passed out. Officers arrived on scene and located the noted vehicle. The female inside the vehicle was holding an open bottle of what appeared to be liquor.

Officers spoke with the female and observed she was heavily intoxicated and slurring her speech. At this point, a female employee approached the officers and stated the she is the driver and owner of the vehicle. The female employee was also heavily intoxicated and smelled of liquor. Both females were placed under arrest under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. Police seized numerous open bottles of liquor from the vehicle which were destroyed on scene.

Police received a report of a minor accident shortly before 8:00 p.m. Police arrived on scene, however no damaged vehicles could be located. By-standers advised police of a vehicle that was involved in the accident driving away with the air bags deployed.

Police signalled for the vehicle to stop by activating emergency lights and sirens. The vehicle kept driving and proceeded through a three-way stop sign without stopping. The vehicle then came to a stop and began reversing toward police. Police also had to reverse to avoid being struck by the vehicle.

Police spoke with the adult female driver of the vehicle, who was unable to provide her driver's license. The driver was found to be suspended indefinitely from driving. While speaking with the driver, police detected a strong odour of liquor on her breath.

The female was subsequently arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Drive While Disqualified. The female was also later charged with Failure/Refusal to Provide Breath Sample. The female was later released to a sober adult with a Promise to Appear in court.
