Corner Gas star and Canadian comic Brent Butt is returning to Winkler in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morden and Winkler.

Tickets are now on sale for the January 24 Big Night Out fundraiser which will also feature rising comedian Leland Klassen at the P.W Enns Centennial Concert Hall.

BBBS Executive Director Michael Penner explains their goal was to create a family-friendly comedy night.

"We really wanted to emphasize it was clean," Penner says. "And no uncertainty in what you might hear."

All money raised will support mentoring programs and expanding their capacity to include more children.

"We have increasing demand as always, and there's always cost involved," Penner says. "Ultimately the money will go back to mentoring more children and youth in our communities."

He notes each ticket supports at-risk children in our community, "Mentoring helps these children and youth reach their full potential and makes our community a better place to live and work."

Big Night Out will also include a live auction onstage in between the acts, including a flight for two to any destination WestJet flies, $1,000 in Winkler Co-op gift cards, and much more.

Tickets to Big Night Out are $50 plus taxes and are available at the concert hall ticket office in City Hall, by calling 204-325-5600, or online at www.winklerconcerthall.ca.
