The St. Joseph Musuem is getting a new building to set up a feature.

An addition to the St. Joseph Museum is underway.

The 60 by 100 foot building is being constructed to display antique tractors.

Sponsor Ron Parent says he and his wife used to have the exhibit on their yard but a tornado destroyed the building last summer.

Parent adds they are using the insurance money to re-build the shed on museum property.

He notes this way there is a permanent display which people can visit all year long.

The project is supposed to cost $75,000 and they are expecting it to be complete by mid August.

Parent says plans are already underway for a similar building that will house antique sugar beet equipment.
