The Canadian Food Grains has been having quite the successful year.

Manitoba Resource Coordinator Harold Penner says they've been pushing between 70 and 80 bushels per acre of Winter Wheat and 50 and 70 of hard wheat.

He adds they're barely half done.

Penner says the organization will hold an annual meeting in Portage in November for all 13 church groups involved to share their experiences of the past year.
