The Heart and Stroke Foundation's Big Bike Event is coming to Carman.


The bike, which holds 30 people is making it's way across Southern Manitoba raising money for heart and stroke research.

 

Anne Hedley is the coordinator for South Eastern Manitoba.

 

She says prizes ranging to $2,000 worth are a few incentives to participate.

 

Hedley adds they are hoping get two rides in Carman in order to beat their previous number of $2,100.

 

She says her goal for the entire region is $36,000 and they hope to get 15 rides going in the area.

 

The bike has been in Brandon and Winnipeg raising a total of over $80,000.

 

The big bike will also be in Winkler, Morden, and Altona.
