The Miller Aces captured the Neepawa Tigers Slasher Showdown High School Hockey Tournament for the second time in three years.

Bryson Loewen scored a pair of goals in regulation and Andrew Dyck potted the winner in overtime as Miller defeated the Beliveau Barracudas 3-2 Saturday afteroon in the championship game at the Yellowhead Centre.

The Aces won a pair of games on Friday.

Connor Parago stopped all 18 shots he faced as Miller shutout the Reston/Elkhorn/Melita/Pierson Renegades 11-0 in the quarterfinals.

Ryan Geirnaert made 18 saves in the Aces 5-0 victory over the Crocus Plains Plainsmen in the semifinals.

It was the third straight year Miller has played in the championship game.

The Aces defeated Northlands Parkway Collegiate 6-3 in the 2017 final and lost 4-2 to the Hamiota Huskies in 2018.
