Due to a leak on the Dunston Water System, water may be shut down on the system in the R.M. of Stanley starting 9 a.m. Thursday.

As a result, a boil water advisory is being issued for a portion of the system also starting at 9 a.m. today. View the map below for the affected area that falls within the blue areas.

Once water quality standards are able to be maintained, the rescind letter will be issued, explained the R.M. of Stanley. Water samples will be sent to the lab and the results are expected to be in by Monday, November 27th.

Starting November 23, 2023 and until further notice, citizens should use boiled water or bottled water for:

· Drinking and making ice

· Preparing beverages, including infant formula

· Preparing food

· Brushing Teeth
