Heavenly Care Agency – Fourth Anniversary Celebration

Providing compassionate and personalized care to those who need it, in the comfort of their home, is at the heart of what Heavenly Care Agency does. Based in Morden, with offices in Carman, Morris and Winnipeg, the company was started in 2018 by Celma Pinto, and was the realization of a lifelong dream of the Asper School of Business graduate and healthcare aid who moved to Canada from Mozambique in 1997.

Heavenly Care fills a need in our community by providing support to families whose loved ones may have been the victims of accidental or medical hardship. Heavenly Care is a private homecare company that staffs confident, empathetic individuals who have a strong desire to help others in need. The very strong team is led by Celma Pinto and Amanda Wall.

At Heavenly Care, the clients come first. That is the first and main priority. Staff not only work hard to support the medical and physical needs of the clients, but also nourish their social connections. This personalized care program allows the clients to keep their dignity, independence and support their individuality. The client and/or their family always remain an active part in the decision-making process for their care program.

Although clients may have similarities in the care for medical situations, no two clients are treated the same, and Heavenly Care approaches each situation differently to meet the unique personal needs of the client. Is personalized care expensive? For those in need of financial assistance, the government of Manitoba subsidizes the cost of care through the Self and Family Managed Care program. Contact Celma or Amanda to provide you with the information and direction on how to apply for the Self and Family Managed Care program.

Heavenly Care provides a wide range of services from medical care to companionship and everywhere in between. The approach is to treat each client individually with care, compassion, and purpose to ensure they are living the best possible life they can. This can include personal hygiene, prescription dispensing, food preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, accompanying to appointments, social outings or activities to remain active and engaged. Contact Celma or Amanda and with your input, a personal care program will be developed to meet your unique needs.

Heavenly Care provides services in personal care homes, seniors complexes, hospitals and in the client’s own homes, with care types including rehabilitation, independent living support or palliative care.

Heavenly Care found a need in our community, and fills a crucial void for residents in need of the type of personalized services being offered. Thanks in large part due to community acceptance, Heavenly Care is on a growth trajectory to the point where it has become an essential part of healthcare services in the area. More and more individuals are able to stay in the comfort of their home to receive their care. The community response has been amazing. Clients are often recommending the personalized care being offered by Heavenly Care to others who need extra assistance with day-to-day tasks.

On Wednesday, June 15th Heavenly Care will be celebrating its fourth anniversary with a come and go event at its Morden office at 103-400 Stephen Street. Current and prospective clients can meet Celma, Amanda and members of the staff to inquire how the company can help them. The Eagle 93.5's Nicole Klassen will be on location from 11am to 1pm that day, sharing the story of Heavenly Care Agency, and encouraging the community to come by.

Celma Pinto, President and CEO of Heavenly Care Agency, invites you to stop by the Morden Heavenly Care Agency office at 103-400 Stephen Street, visit their website at heavenlycare.ca, or give Amanda a call at 204-822-5522 to set up an appointment to develop a care program for you. Appointments can be held in the office, or in the convenience of your home.
