Four people are facing various drug-related charges after Altona police and the Regional Support Tactical Unit executed a search warrant on an apartment in Altona on February 24th.

Once inside, police say officers posted on the perimeter noticed a person start to dispose of items from within the apartment through an open window on to the ground below. They were found to be two bags containing a large amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine. 
    
A further search of the apartment yielded additional smaller amounts of what is believed to be methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a large quantity of amphetamine and a canister of bear mace. In total, police seized 141.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 121 tablets of amphetamine.

A 44-year-old woman is facing a charge of: Possession of Controlled Substance

A 37-year-old woman is facing a charge of: Possession of Controlled Substance

A 51-year-old man is facing charges of: Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
