Morden police responded to a variety of calls over the past week.

One of those calls last Wednesday was to help mediate a situation at a local business. Officers were dispatched to the business regarding a couple harassing and yelling at people.

The next day, just after 10 a.m., police were dispatched to Conner Hill Drive for a report of a gas leak. Police, along with fire, ambulance, and Manitoba Hydro responded to the scene.

The line was fixed by Manitoba Hydro.

On June 14, Morden police received a report of a theft from a business on Stephen Street. The business owner reported their large black planter was stolen from the front of their business sometime between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.

Later that afternoon, officers took a report of Identity Fraud. The caller told police that he called the Canada Revenue Agency to check on the status of his Income Tax return.

The man was told that they were conducting an audit as someone had opened up an account using his personal information.

Meanwhile, a number of tickets were also handed out from June 14th to the 21st, including 3 for using a cell phone, or other electronic device while driving which carries a fine of $672, and a 3 day license suspension.
