Manitoba Public Health officials announced Sunday afternoon an additional six cases of COVID-19 had been identified as of 9:30 a.m. this morning. This brings the province's total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 343. Today's announcement is the first time since April 10th more than five new cases have been announced in a day. There were a total of twelve announced April 10th.

Meanwhile, looking back at the weekend, one new case was identified Saturday, with five cases announced Friday. Friday's cases were all on a Hutterite colony located in the Interlake-Eastern Health Region.

As of Friday, there were no individuals in hospital.

In Southern Health-Sante Sud, as of Friday, there were a total of 43 cases in the health region; 38 lab-confirmed and 5 probable.
