A 73 year old man from Roseisle has died following a two vehicle collision south of Oak Bluff Thursday night.

Headingley RCMP responded to the fatal head-on collision around 8:30 p.m. between a pick-up truck and an SUV on Highway 3.

According to Manitoba RCMP, emergency medical services personnel and the local fire department ,were already on scene working to extract the driver and lone occupant of the pick up truck when officers arrived. STARS Air Ambulance transported the 56 year old man from Brunkild to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and lone occupant of the SUV was pronounced deceased on scene.

The investigation continues.
