The Winnipeg Jets dropped a 2-1 decision to the Nashville Predators Tuesday night at Bell MTS Place.

Mikael Granlund won it for the Predators as he scored his 11th goal of the season 71 seconds into overtime.

Nick Bonino also scored for Nashville.

Mason Appleton had the lone goal for the Jets who got on the board 2:46 into the first period.

Bonino tied the game at 1-1 with 2:21 remaining in the opening frame.

Predators goaltender Juuse Saros made 33 saves while Winnipeg's Connor Hellebuyck faced 36 shots.

The Jets (26-23-5) next game is Thursday in St. Louis against the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues.
