MORDEN - It was a beautiful night for baseball in Morden as the Dodgers welcomed the Plum Coulee Pirates for the first Little Big League of 2018! And the game did not disappoint. Plum Coulee came out swinging early to take a 4-0 lead before Morden tacked two runs on to show the Pirates that this wasn't going to be a cake walk. Morden's pitching got stronger as the game progressed, and that's when the Dodgers' bats woke up. Down 6-2 heading into the bottom of the 5th inning, Mitch Walske of Morden hit a double to right field and Rudy Sheppard brought in two runs to tie the game at 6. The final inning saw some great defence and the game ended in a well deserved tie. What a way to start off Little Big League!
