Graduating Winkler Flyers players Dorrin Luding and Nathan Poolman will continue their hockey careers and further their educations at the same time this fall.

Luding, who recorded a 2.97 goals against average and a .904 save percentage and two shutouts in 43 games, committed to the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.

The 21-year-old Prince George product had 27 wins and 12 losses in the COVID-19 shortened 2019-2020 season.

Poolman will play NCAA Division III hockey at SUNY-Geneseo in New York.

The 20-year-old Baudette, Minnesota native had 13 goals and 30 assists in 56 games in his only season on the Flyers blueline.
