The Manitoba government is once again extending the province-wide state of emergency under the Emergency Measures Act, to continue to protect the health and safety of all Manitobans and reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The extension goes into effect at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct 9 for a period of 30 days.

The state of emergency was first declared on March 20 and was further extended on April 18, May 17, June 15, July 14, Aug. 12 and Sept. 10.
