Morden residents reminded city remains under Boil Water Advisory

Officials with the City of Morden are reminding the community it’s still under a Boil Water Advisory. The advisory was issued early Sunday morning.

“With the high water levels coming into our lake (Minnewasta), we’re having issues with treatment of water,” said Director of Operations Tim Reimer. “Stay posted. We will be providing updates as they come in.”

Reimer was asked whether there’s word on when the advisory may end.

“Not as of yet,” he said. “We’re working on trying to balance out the water coming into the plant, right now. It is an ongoing process.”
