Coming to the end of high school, students begin to think towards the future.

Garden Valley Collegiate held its Education Symposium Tuesday to help students realize the options out there for them.

Andrea Ginter is a student at GVC, and realizes there are decisions for her to make.

She says the symposium allows her to see the variety of things she could go into and the financial situations of them.

Kim Apperly is the guidance councillor at GVC and the primary organizer of the symposium.

She feels it is important for students to realize their are many things they can do after graduation.

Apperly adds the feedback she has received is positive from students, teachers and presenters.
