Pembina Valley RCMP are continuing to investigate a two vehicle accident in the Village of Reinfeld Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened at approximately 2:45 pm at the intersection of Reinfeld Street North and Church Avenue East.

RCMP say a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old male from Altona did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a vehicle being driven by a 35-year-old female from Reinfeld.

The occupants of both vehicles received minor injuries.

Police say it appears the male driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The investigation is continuing and tickets will likely be issued.
