There is good news for future students at Providence University College.

“For the upcoming academic year of 2020-2021, Providence is excited to announce a tuition freeze,” stated Vice President of External Relations Cody Quiring earlier this week.

Tuition at Providence University College will remain as is for the 2020-2021 school year.

During a time where the majority of Christian higher education centres in the country are forced to annually increase their prices, Quiring says, for the time being, Providence will not be following suit.

“By holding our tuition rates we are indicating that we want to make our transformational educational program here as accessible as possible for as many students as possible.”

Quiring is glad his school has the financial buttressing from businesses, churches, alumni, and sponsors to keep tuition at present levels. He adds that the concept was not lost on students either.

“I think whenever you can keep a little bit more money in your pocket while still receiving a quality education, people are excited. So our engagement from both prospective and current students has been encouraging.”

Quiring points out that the school offers over $450,000 in annual scholarships and bursaries meaning roughly 80% of Providence students receive financial aid every year. This tuition freeze is simply another means of offering that support.
