The Northern Baseball League's Winnipeg Goldeyes dropped both ends of a doubleheader to the Gary SouthShore RailCats. The Goldeyes managed just three hits and lost the opener 3-2. The RailCats took the second game 5-4 thanks to a two-out walk-off two-run homer by Cristian Guerrero off former Major Leaguer Bobby Korecky. Juan Diaz had a pair of hits including his fourth home run of the season for Winnipeg. The two teams will meet again tonight in Indiana as the Goldeyes close out their six-game road trip.
