A letter sent to parents Friday morning, and supplied to PembinaValleyOnline by Border Land School Division, explained that while there have been further positive COVID-19 test results and close contacts in past week, the increase has been small.

In addition, given that isolation periods for 36 staff and students gradually ends starting Friday, April 30, and some close contacts are getting their second COVID-19 test in the coming days, the Division says in-person classes will resume Thursday, May 6.

Meantime, in-person learning will continue during this time for children of Critical Service Workers.
