It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Shauna Jesslyn Harms at the age of 25. Shauna passed away peacefully with her parents by her side on March 7, 2024 at the Altona Hospital.
Shauna is survived by her parents Cliff and Jessie Harms, and by her brothers Ryan, Travis and Krystalyn, and Merlin and Heather.

Shauna was born on August 15, 1998, the youngest and only girl in the family. She attended Roseau Valley School from Kindergarten through to graduation and then returned as a helper for 2 more years as she transitioned to work as a participant at Epic Smile Day program in St Malo. Shauna loved her time at RVS and also at Epic Smile. She loved riding the bus to Epic, it was a big highlight for her to be on the bus and be with her friends at Epic.

On January 25, 2024 Shauna was diagnosed with leukemia, a fast growing illness. She was hospitalized on February 3, 2024. Shauna was very brave and remained cheerful throughout her illness, wholeheartedly praising the Lord from her hospital bed as we watched online church services together many many times. Shauna also loved to watch Little Bear, Franklin, and Veggie Tales. While at home Shauna loved the outdoors, our little family campfires every day, 4 wheeler/trailer rides with Mom, snowmobile rides with Dad, she loved to be a helper making cookies and getting firewood and we loved doing these things with her.
Shauna loved to know that she was a Princess - The Lord's Princess. And we would always say " Yes, Shauna is a Beautiful Princess!" and she was so happy. Shauna loved church all through her life, she would worship the Lord freely as she was dancing for the Lord! A few months ago at church, a fellow brother in Christ warmly greeted Shauna, he shook her hand and said "Good morning Princess! Welcome home!" It was a very special moment and she loved it. We believe that Shauna heard Jesus say the same to her this past Thursday, "Princess Shauna, Welcome home!!"
Thank you to everyone who made Shauna's life happy! Thank you Pastor Nick and Christie, our church family, and our families for your love and support these last weeks. Thank you to Wiebe Funeral Home, Thank you to the great people at the Altona Hospital for your wonderful care for Shauna.
