A man was airlifted to hospital Monday after he was struck by a falling tree branch.

STARS Air Ambulance was called to a farm in the Rosenort area at approximately 12:00 p.m today to transport an injured male patient.

A STARS representative says he was transported to Health Sciences Centre in serious but stable condition.
