A BBQ fundraiser held last Friday raised $202 that will go towards the Morris Army Cadet Corps.
The event was put on by Sun-Valley Co-op in an effort to support cadets going to France next year to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
Registration for the upcoming cadet year will be held at the Morris Legion on September 8th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The program is open to youth ages 12 to 18.
