With the calendar saying "September", back to school here and hints of Fall all around, the changing seasons were a focus during In the Mayor's Chair Wednesday morning. Altona Mayor Harv Schroeder joined CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner for the conversation.

"The Altona Aquatic Centre had a busy season, and closed on August 26th," shared the Mayor. "Thank you to our lifeguards and ticket clerks for making it a great season, and thank you for coming and enjoying the facility."

Schroeder also reminded everyone the Fall/Winter program guidebook is out today, and can be found online , as well as at the Town of Altona office. And a really big sign Fall has arrived, the ice will be open at the Millennium Exhibition Centre is open for the season September 11th.

The Mayor also shared the fact school speed zones are back in effect, 30 km/h to be exact.
