Riley Unger of Plum Coulee is the winner of the 40th International Golf Tournament. Unger, who finished fifth at the Manitoba Men's Amateur Golf Championship last week at Breezy Bend, had with a 54-hole total of 205. Unger was 36 in Walhalla, 34 in Langdon, 67 in Winkler and 68 in Morden. Tyler Friesen of Plum Coulee was second with a 214 total. Terry Enns of Winkler was third at 224 while Dale Giesbrecht of Morden finished fourth at 226. Flight winners two through eight were Scott Rempel of Morden, Howard Brown of Lowe Farm, Mike Thiessen of Winkler, Preston Breathon of Walhalla, Stu Schellonburg of Morden, Ken Penner of Roland and Paul Giesbrecht of Winkler. 529 golfers participated in the 2010 International.
