Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon emergency crews were called to an accident at the intersection of 15th street and Highway 14 in Winkler.

Shortly after the accident emergency crews had the north side of the intersection, going to and from the Gemstone, area blocked off as clean up ensued.

People who are driving around said intersection may experience some delays or may have to detour around the accident to get to their destination.
