The Altona Maroons went undefeated and won the Steinbach Battle of the Blades Bantam Hockey Tournament this past weekend.

The Maroons rallied from a 3-0 deficit and outscored the Landmark Blues 9-7 in their opening round robin game and then defeated the Lorette Comets 4-2.

Connor Parago made 32 saves as Altona edged the Carman Cougars 3-2 in the semifinals.

The Maroon scored four unanswered third period goals and beat St. Boniface 6–2 in the championship game. Deegan Toews had a hat trick and Declan Bergen chipped in with three assists.
