Work continues on micro-surfacing treatments in the region.

On PTH 14, westbound lanes are being micro-surfaced starting 1 km east of PTH 32 to the junction of PTH 3. The 6 km project has a cost of $340,000.

A second 5.8 km section will also receive micro-surfacing treatment including westbound lanes on PTH 3 from the junction of PTH 14 to Route 100 in Morden with a cost of $330,000.

MIT officials note both sections will receive two rut pulls and one top coat on each lane. If weather cooperates, work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, May 30.

Work is expected to continue over the weekend, though no detours will need to be put in place.
