Carman and Morden RCMP are investigating the disappearance of a man from the small community of Roland, Man.

David Reimer, 41, went missing from Roland on Friday evening. Submitted photo.

David Reimer, 41, went missing early Friday evening (Jan 26) after a phone call with his wife around 5:45 p.m. where she learned he was not well. According to RCMP, David's wife arrived at an address on 3rd street about fifteen minutes later however, he was not there. A search got underway in the community but David wasn't found.

RCMP spokesperson, Tara Seel, says with the extreme cold temperatures and David’s vulnerable state, police are quite concerned for his safety. It is possible he could be in the Winkler area.

David Reimer is described as Caucasian, 5' 9", 198 lbs with blue eyes and short brown hair. He also has several tattoos: the name 'Anna' on his upper right arm; an arrowhead on his calf, a green Canadian flag on his chest and a wedding band tattoo on his ring finger.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Carman RCMP at 204-745-6760 or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477. The public can also submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text "TIPMAN" plus your message to CRIMES (274637).

David's brother Andy said his family is very worried, however, they are still holding out hope David is well.  He said they have received a lot of support from friends, and the community, which they are very grateful for.
