The Providence University College Pilots swept their weekend series in week four of the 2021-22 Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference men’s volleyball season. The number one Pilots improved their league record to 5-1 while middle Tyler Klassen was dominant on both offence and defence. The third year veteran from Altona is also an assistant captain and showed his leadership with 11 kills, seven blocks and he was a main reason why the team combined for an impressive 17 point ending stuff blocks over six sets. To start the weekend, Klassen was quite efficient with seven kills with one error on 10 attempts plus added four blocks in three sets. On Saturday’s matinee match he contributed four kills with another three blocks in another three set win.
