Martin Harder is the new mayor of the City of Winkler.

Harder won in a landslide taking 1890 votes compared to 574 for Walter Siemens and 396 for Dave Penner.


Harder says he is thrilled by the result.

 

He was also pleased with the voter turnout and proud of the opponents who all ran a clean campaign.

 

Harder says he will begin by building bridges with the surrounding communities and building a strong team with the new council.
