The Pembina Valley Hawks will battle the Eastman Selects, Notre Dame Hounds, and Thunder Bay Kings for the right to play in the Telus Cup National AAA Hockey Championship later this month in Quebec.

The Hawks are hosting the AAA West Regional, which kick off tonight in Morden.

Event Co-chair Jim Mutcheson says the excitement is building.

Because the Hawks won the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League this year, the Selects, who lost in the final, will be the Manitoba representative.

The Notre Dame Hounds are the defending regional and national champions.

Mutcheson says we are in for some really good hockey this weekend.
